Christmas Throw a pot taster and hand build session

Learn the technique of throwing a pot on the wheel.It is a private session for two so you will not share the wheels with anyone else.
You are firstly shown how to prepare the clay before it goes on the wheel then a demonstration on the technique of centring, moulding and shaping the clay. You then each make your pot .
Once  completed we remove it from the wheel,You will each have personal one to one guidance throughout during the first making experience before your Christmas themed hand build

Once your pieces are done we prepare them for decoration and paint them.The booking is for approximately 3 hours but if you require a little longer for painting and there is space you are welcome to stay.

Regrettably Throw a pot with extension is only available for over 13s. Work is left a the studio for firing and glazing and ready for collection around 3-4 weeks later.

It is messy so an apron or old clothes is advised.
