Pottery throw a pot session for 2 taster plus have a go on your own (Copy)

Learn the technique of throwing a pot on the wheel.It is a private session for two so you will not share the wheels with anyone else.
You are firstly shown how to prepare the clay before it goes on the wheel then a demonstration on the technique of centring, moulding and shaping the clay. You then each make your pot .
Once  completed we remove it from the wheel,You will each have personal one to one guidance throughout during the first making experience.  and make a pot each.you  then have your own wheel additional 30 mins to make a pot on your own.

Once your pots are done we prepare them for decoration and paint them.The booking is for approximately 3 hours but if you require a little longer for painting and there is space you are welcome to stay.

Throw a pot is not recommended for under 10’s. Work is left a the studio for firing and glazing and ready for collection around 3-4 weeks later.

It is messy so an apron or old clothes is advised.
